With Simon and Ricarda as crew, we looked forward to joining the OGA East Coast Cruise, July 2021.

Sailing in company with ‘Kestrel’ we left the Deben in somewhat choppy conditions meeting up with the OGA fleet in Walton Backwaters for an evening on the beach. With hardly a breath of wind, the fleet returned to the River Deben to anchor at the Rocks in lovely bright sunshine. However, the forecast looked bad. Reluctantly deciding to stay stormbound in the Tidemill YH, we learned the OGA boats were also stormbound in the Backwaters!
